High photodegradation performance of ZnO nanoparticles supported on porous Zeolite Na-A: Effects of ZnO loading

Zeolite Na-A supported ZnO nanocomposites (ZnO/Zeolite NCs) were synthesized at low temperature (70 °C) via the sol-gel process and characterized for thermal, structural, morphological, adsorption, optical bonding properties. Both XRD microscopy imaging results indicated that obtained nanopowders crystalline in nature with no structural collapse revealed. The nanoparticles occurred mainly on surface of support more dispersed as compared to those unsupported ZnO. textural properties showed improved porosity increased area. Photocatalytic activity ZnO/Zeolite was higher which attributed combined effects both zeolite aluminosilicate network. These result area, strong adsorption enhanced dispersion hence suppressed charge recombination powders.
